PH launches AI masterplan to build regional infrastructure hub

The Philippines wants to move beyond using artificial intelligence and develop its own AI-powered services, products and infrastructure, with a new government roadmap expected to build on the transformation of its information technology and business process management (IT-BPM) industry.

Ambassador-at-Large and Special Envoy for Trade Relations Jose E.B. Antonio said the country could use its planned infrastructure investments to accelerate the sector’s shift toward specialized, higher-value services.
