Indonesia, U.S. Boost Cooperation in Talent Development and High-Tech Industry

Indonesia continuously expands international cooperation in higher education, research, and human resource development to support a science- and technology-based economic transformation. The effort was highlighted during a meeting between Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Brian Yuliarto, and Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the United States Embassy, Peter M. Haymond, in Jakarta on Thursday, April 16, 2026.

According to a press release issued by the ministry, the cooperation focuses on improving the quality of human resources through internationally standardized education and research programs. The initiative includes the development of joint degree programs and cross-border collaborative research aimed at producing high-impact innovations.
