Indonesia advances clean energy with joint ministerial efforts

The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Diktisaintek) has broadened its collaboration with the Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Ministry to include the development of solar power plants (PLTS) to support clean energy transition.

The two ministries convened a strategic meeting in Jakarta on Tuesday (July 29) to identify ways to implement President Prabowo Subianto’s directive to electrify villages nationwide through PLTS.
