From digital curiosity to export competitiveness

PHILIPPINE exporters are no longer strangers to digital tools. Many are already using AI-powered platforms for marketing, content creation, translation, and product visualization. This growing familiarity reflects a sector that is curious, adaptive, and willing to experiment. At the same time, a closer look reveals an important transition challenge: while awareness is high, adoption remains uneven, fragmented, and insufficiently embedded in core export operations.

This pattern is not unique to the Philippines. It is consistent with what many MSME exporters globally experience when digital tools become widely accessible faster than organizational processes and skills can evolve.
