Malaysia Calls On Japan To Play Greater Role In Technology Transfer To ASEAN

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 23 (Bernama) -- Malaysia, as ASEAN Chair, wants Japan to play a greater role in driving technology transfer and front-end semiconductor investment in the region, said Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan.

โ€œI think we (ASEAN) are at the level of strategic comprehensive partnership with Japan. With Japan, we do not have any issue except that we want Japan to play (a greater) role in terms of technology and artificial intelligence.
