Malaysia's semiconductor sector hits RM400bil in 2025, structural gaps remain, says Johari

Malaysia's semiconductor sector posted an estimated revenue of RM400 billion in 2025, a testament to how the industry has grown into a formidable force over a span of five decades, said Investment, Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani, revealing the figure today.

"As demand surges for more powerful data centres, servers and network equipment, we need more of this technology to help the development of massive data traffic.
