Localities apply AI, data to drive practical digital transformation

Localities nationwide are shifting the focus of digital transformation from building digital foundations to generating practical value, with artificial intelligence (AI) and data increasingly applied to improve governance, public services and development opportunities.

The shift follows the Political Bureau’s Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, dated December 22, 2024, on breakthroughs in science and technology, innovation and national digital transformation.
