Indonesia and Russia Forge Partnership on 5G and Cybersecurity

The Indonesian Ministry of Communication and Information Technology is collaborating with the Russian government to establish a special subcommittee that will spearhead digital programs in the country. This collaboration enables the exchange of technology and human resources, as well as the strengthening of cybersecurity.

Communication Minister Meutya Viada Hafid said the collaboration was formed with the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications, and Mass Media of the Russian Federation, at the Konstantinovsky Palace, St. Petersburg. President Prabowo Subianto and President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin are said to have directly witnessed the start of the implementation of this strategic digital collaboration.
