Bursa Malaysia: Broker-level cybersecurity incidents contained, market integrity intact

KUALA LUMPUR (March 12): Bursa Malaysia Bhd (KL:BURSA) said on Thursday cybersecurity incidents at a few brokers had no impact on the exchange’s networks, platforms or infrastructure.

“These reported incidents are limited to those affected brokers’ respective systems, with no impact on the exchange’s networks, platforms or infrastructure,” the exchange operator said in a statement. “All trading and market operations continue to function as usual.”
