BDMS wins AIBP Enterprise Innovation Awards 2026 in the Data & AI category for its “BURT” innovation.

Bangkok Dusit Medical Services Public Company Limited (BDMS), a leading private hospital network spanning across all regions and operating under international standards, won an award at the AIBP Enterprise Innovation Awards 2026 in the Data & AI category, organized by the ASEAN Innovation Business Platform (AIBP). The award was given for BDMS's innovation, “BURT” or BDMS Utilization Review Technology, an artificial intelligence (AI) system for reviewing the appropriate utilization of medical resources (Utilization Management). Dr. Jinhatthan Panyasorn, Director of Medical Resource Management and Insurance Systems at BDMS, accepted the award from Assoc. Prof. (Special) Dr. Polawat Viturakolachit, Inspector General of the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society. This award reflects BDMS's potential in developing AI innovations to enhance service efficiency and elevate the Thai healthcare system towards more valuable and equitable care. 

The AIBP Enterprise Innovation Awards 2026 recognize organizations in the ASEAN region that have successfully leveraged digital technology, data, and artificial intelligence (AI) to drive organizational transformation and create tangible results.
