Techcombank and Finviet Recognised at 2025 ASEAN Enterprise Innovation Award for Advancing Digital Banking and AI-Driven Retail

Singapore, 24 December 2025 - From 32 nominations in 2017 to 115 this year, the annual ASEAN Innovation Business Platform (AIBP) Enterprise Innovation Awards recognises Southeast Asian organisations successfully adopting innovative technology to digitally transform their businesses. Out of this year's submissions, 74 nominations were shortlisted as finalists.

Notably, close to 50% of nominations featured artificial intelligence (AI) or machine learning (ML) initiatives. Southeast Asia continues to attract multi-billion-dollar investments into cloud, data centre, and AI infrastructure, as governments and enterprises expand capacity to support growing AI workloads. Falling AI deployment costs and rapid technological advancements are lowering barriers and accelerating adoption across key sectors and reinforcing ASEAN’s position as a leading innovation hub.

Over the past year, the company has applied machine learning and data intelligence to enhance order management, inventory planning and forecasting, and transaction processing, enabling small retailers to operate more effectively within a digitized retail ecosystem. Finviet’s initiative highlights how data and AI can be embedded at scale to boost productivity and strengthen operational resilience across the ecosystem.
