About the retreat
A closed-door, invitation-only retreat held bi-annually in Singapore for senior enterprise leaders across ASEAN. The 2026 edition brings together senior executives from Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, and Singapore for three days of structured peer exchange.
The focus is conversation.
Tradeoffs.
The real work of enterprise leadership right now is not in the clean strategy decks. It is in the decisions where every option has an explicit cost. Technology stack divergence. AI ambition against capital discipline. Sovereignty reshaping cloud architecture. Sustainability commitments under margin pressure.
None of these have clean answers. Every session across the three days is built around a tradeoff you are already living. Our hope is simple: that you leave with a little more clarity than you arrived with, and a few more peers wrestling with the same questions.
Senior enterprise leaders from across ASEAN, drawn from Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, and Singapore. The full confirmed guest list is published on this page.
Attendance is capped to maintain conversation quality.
Yes. The confirmed participant list is published on this page with name, title, and organisation for every person in the cohort. This is so you can identify the peers you most want to meet, and plan accordingly.
The programme
Day 1 (27 April): Welcome drinks and networking dinner at El Chido, Pullman Hill Street. Many of you told us the most valuable part of these retreats is unstructured time with peers before the programme begins, so that is where we are starting.
Day 2 (28 April): Optional 5km or 10km morning run around the Marina area, then four Exploration Circles split across two parallel slots, with the Lunchtime Launchpad in between.
Day 3 (29 April): Optional sunrise walk at Fort Canning, two parallel site visit tracks, closing lunch.
The detailed agenda is shared with confirmed attendees ahead of the retreat.
We curate the programme individually for each attendee. Based on your role, your organisation's priorities, and the challenges most relevant to you, we assign you to one morning Exploration Circle, one afternoon Exploration Circle, and one Day 3 site visit track.
You will receive your personalised programme by email ahead of the retreat.
Small-group, closed-door discussions on Day 2. Four topics run in two parallel slots (two in the morning, two in the afternoon):
- Circle A: AI Agents in the Enterprise. Agent autonomy versus operational safety. The question running through every pilot right now.
- Circle B: Trust on the Line. Customer friction versus fraud exposure. The question you are already running numbers on.
- Circle C: The New AI Cost Curve. AI ambition versus capital discipline. Where the CFO conversation meets the CTO conversation.
- Circle D: Sovereign AI and Multi-Cloud. Global scale versus local sovereignty. Not an architecture debate, a planning question.
Each attendee is assigned to one Circle in the morning and one in the afternoon.
A mid-day segment on Day 2 where a small number of enterprise-focused startups, selected from the AIBP network, share what they are building. Everyone attends. It is designed to surface innovation happening at the edges of the ASEAN ecosystem, not to pitch.
Two parallel tracks on Day 3, hosted at major enterprise and innovation facilities in Singapore. You will be assigned to one:
- Track A: Business and Workforce. Focused on translating AI investment into measurable operational outcomes and workforce redesign.
- Track B: Sustainability and Innovation. Focused on how advanced manufacturing and sustainability are being operationalised at scale.
Host venues are currently being finalised and will be confirmed with attendees ahead of the retreat. Venue transfers are provided. You will return to Pullman for closing lunch.
Two, both early morning and entirely optional:
- Morning run around the Marina (Day 2). 5km and 10km routes available. Running gear and trainers required.
- Sunrise walk at Fort Canning (Day 3, 06:45). Comfortable shoes.
Confirm your preference by email when you respond to your pre-retreat logistics note.
We understand calendars are rarely clean. If you can only attend one or two of the three days, tell us upfront so we can assign your Exploration Circles and site visit accordingly, and flag anything you will miss.
Most of the peer value sits in the Day 2 Exploration Circles, and in the networking that runs across the meals (Day 1 dinner, Day 2 lunch, Day 3 closing lunch). We would encourage protecting those if you have to choose.
Logistics
Pullman Singapore Hill Street is home base. AIBP will provide transport to and from the programme venues.
AIBP is arranging two coaches from Changi Airport to Pullman Singapore Hill Street for attendees arriving on Day 1. Pickup timings will be confirmed closer to the date, and we will share the boarding point and schedule with you ahead of arrival.
If your flight arrives outside the coach window, the most straightforward option is Grab or a metered taxi, both widely available at the airport. The journey takes around 25 to 35 minutes depending on traffic, and costs approximately SGD 35 to 40.
If you prefer public transport, the MRT from Changi to City Hall (a 15 minute walk to the hotel) is also a clean option.
Yes. All travellers entering Singapore must submit the SG Arrival Card (SGAC) within three days before arrival. This applies to all foreign visitors regardless of nationality.
The easiest way to do this is through the MyICA mobile app, which is the official app from Singapore's Immigration and Checkpoints Authority. You can download it free from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). You can also submit the SGAC directly on the ICA website.
Submission is free. Avoid third-party websites and agents that charge a fee for SGAC submission, ICA does not endorse any of these services.
On arrival, please proceed to the Pullman front desk for check-in. Let the staff know you are part of the AIBP / Industry Platform Group booking, and present your passport for verification.
You do not need to bring a room confirmation letter or booking number.
Yes. All transfers between retreat venues, including Day 3 site visits, are arranged by AIBP. You do not need to organise your own transport between programme venues.
Some venues are within walking distance of Pullman, in which case we will let you know.
Arrival: Day 1 welcome drinks begin at 18:00 on 27 April. Aim to arrive earlier in the afternoon to check in and settle.
Departure: Closing lunch ends at 14:00 on 29 April. We recommend booking flights from 17:00 onwards. Bags can be left with hotel concierge after morning checkout.
